Privacy policy

Separately from anything you track:

• Your email address, and a display name and username if you set them
• Your timezone, so reminders arrive at the right local hour
• Subscription state from Stripe — status, plan, renewal date. Never card details.
• A hashed IP address recorded at signup, used only to spot referral fraud. The raw address is never stored.
• Referral records: who referred whom, and whether a referral has paid out.

A session cookie so you stay signed in. It is set on app.pepstepper.com only and does not follow you to this site.

One referral cookie, if you arrive on somebody’s referral link. It holds a referral code, lasts ninety days, and contains no personal data of any kind.

There are no advertising or analytics cookies on the application. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to ask you about.

The calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. Numbers you type into it are never transmitted and never stored — not by us and not by anyone else. You can use it without an account and we will not know that you did.

Transactional only: reminders you asked for, notices about your referrals, and billing messages such as a trial ending or a payment failing. Every one of them can be switched off in settings, apart from those legally required to reach you.

There is no marketing list and we do not sell your address.

PepStepper is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly hold data about anyone under 18. If you believe we do, write to privacy@pepstepper.com and it will be removed.

If this policy changes materially you will be told in the app before the change takes effect, not quietly by a new date at the top of this page.
